QUALITY MANAGER

This position will be responsible for managing the Quality area, coordinating product control, the Quality System, and company procedures. They will oversee compliance with food safety, hygiene, traceability, and certification regulations.

Main activities

· Coordinate and supervise the company's quality management system, ensuring compliance with current food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO, BRC, IFS, etc.)

· Manage internal and external audits, ensuring correct preparation of documentation and management of any non-conformities

· Supervise product quality control activities

· Monitor and update company procedures

· Interface with certification bodies, customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with the quality standards required by the market

· Manage internal staff training on procedures, regulations and best practices related to food safety and quality

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

· Diploma in Agricultural Engineering or Degree in related fields (e.g. Food Science and Technology, Agriculture, Biotechnology, etc.)

· At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within companies in the agri-food sector or at certification bodies

· Knowledge of the main industry standards and regulations (HACCP, BRC, IFS, GLOBALG.AP, ISO 22000)

· Experience in managing internal and external audits, health inspections, and large-scale retail trade controls

· Knowledge of the issues related to the traceability and tracking of products along the supply chain

· English language

· Availability to travel
