Demand Planner & Supply Chain Specialist

• Acquire short, medium and long-term sales forecasts from the commercial divisions
• Analyze historical data, market trends, order book, and business information
• Identify changes in demand and their impacts on production capacity
• Constantly monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate the comparison between commercial function, production and supply chain
• Translate commercial estimates into requirement plans consistent with production capacities
• Define and monitor safety stock levels
• Collaborate with production planning to minimize stockouts and overproduction
• Contribute to the reduction of obsolete inventory and tied up capital
• Develop KPIs and periodic reports on demand
• Analyze variances between forecasts and actual sales
• Provide strategic decision support through quantitative analysis and forecasting scenarios

Essentials/Must have

• Technical qualification, engineering degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain or Production/Material Planning roles
• Experience in metalworking, plant engineering or manufacturing companies is preferred
• Advanced Excel
• Use of corporate ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Statistical analysis and demand forecasting skills

• Coming from companies that work on commission
• Experience with S&OP processes
