Main activities
- Supply and demand planning, ensuring a balance between market needs and product availability;
- Preparation and updating of short, medium and long-term sales forecasts;
- Monitoring performance against forecasts through demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias);
- Production of periodic reports to support Sales and Customer Service on availability and stock-out risks;
- Data analysis using ERP and BI tools to identify trends and support operational decisions;
- Support for supply planning based on forecasts and inventory;
- Definition and optimization of procurement and inventory management policies;
- Service level checks,
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics to ensure a seamless supply chain.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
- A highly data-driven analytical mindset, with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy, a methodical and rigorous approach, solid analytical skills, and meticulous information management.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems, combined with authority and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Previous experience in roles in the PURCHASING field, preferably in Demand Planning or in any case gained within the Purchasing Function in contexts characterised by large assortments and a high number of high-rotation items
- Skills in demand planning and inventory management;
- Relationship skills for coordination and interface with all departments of the company
- Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems
Preferential/Nice to have
- Knowledge of the AWR Inventory Management software
- Familiarity with the logic and procedures of importing from non-European countries (China first and foremost)
- Good knowledge of the English language

Compensation Package
National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Commerce; gross annual salary approximately €45,000-60,000, depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
