Business Development Manager Pharma

The candidate will be responsible for the commercial development of electromechanical process products and systems in Northern Italy, identifying and acquiring new customers in the pharmaceutical sector.

Main activities

  • Define, in agreement with Management, and implement a Business Development strategy for the assigned area (Northern Italy), with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector;
  • Conduct market and industry analyses and share market insights and best practices within the organization;
  • Plan customer visits, collaborating with the Technical Solution Engineer and Account Management figures in accordance with the jointly defined business plan;
  • Identify portfolio gaps and conduct competitive analyses;
  • Identify and qualify new high-potential customers and opportunities;
  • Manage leads, initiatives and opportunities via CRM;
  • Monitor specific KPIs and indicators to effectively guide action;
  • Contribute to your country's revenue and margin growth.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Sales experience in selling complex solutions for the process industry, gained at OEMs or engineering companies operating in the pharmaceutical sector and active in Italy;
  • Knowledge of the technological supply chain and applications in the Pharma sector, with management of both medium and large-sized interlocutors (OEMs, Engineering Companies and End Users);
  • Strong results-oriented and proactive business development skills.

  • Ability to analyze the market and identify trends and potential growth areas;
  • Advanced use of CRM tools;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Organizational autonomy and proactivity.

Compensation Package

  • Permanent employment;
  • Indicative RAL between €60,000 and €70,000 (specific parameters will be evaluated flexibly and commensurate with actual experience);
