Technical Office Manager

• Coordinate and develop the Technical Office team, promoting the effective use of company CAD, PDM/PLM and ERP tools;
• Plan and supervise mechanical design, product development, and industrialization activities, ensuring improved product manufacturability;
• Ensure the correct issuance, revision and archiving of 3D models, technical tables, product sheets and technical documentation;
• Ensure consistency between design, production feasibility, quality requirements, costs and implementation times;
• Define and maintain technical standards, procedures, coding criteria, and document management rules, including managing technical changes, document revisions, and product variants.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain and Project Management to ensure the correct flow of information;
• Contribute to design automation, technical product configuration, and process digitalization projects;
• Support Management in technical and organizational assessments and technological investments.

Essentials/Must have

• Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma;
• At least 5 years of experience in positions of responsibility within the technical offices of manufacturing companies;
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical technical drawing and executive design;
• Experience using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks;
• Knowledge of bills of materials, coding, revisions, industrialization and document management;
• Experience in managing custom or made-to-order products;
• Ability to coordinate technical teams and manage priorities;
• Aptitude for continuous improvement, standardization, and process analysis.

Preferential/Nice to have

• High autonomy and decision-making responsibility;
• Expertise in sheet metal working, light carpentry, stainless steel, or technical products with high aesthetic and functional content;
• Knowledge of the English language;
• Experience in digitalization and streamlining projects for technical processes.

Possible support for relocation

Position with permanent contract and gross salary in the range of 50-55K
