Main Responsibilities
- Ensure overall responsibility for company management and the achievement of the objectives defined by the Board of Directors;
- Ensure economic and financial balance by preparing and monitoring balance sheets, financial plans, business plans, and budgets;
- Manage local public transport activities, including the various types of service within the area of jurisdiction (urban, extra-urban, trolleybus);
- Lead reorganizations, turnarounds, and extraordinary M&A transactions, also evaluating potential insourcing options;
- Coordinate the implementation of projects envisaged in the industrial plan and ensure their monitoring;
- Manage industrial relations and personnel policies;
- Maintain effective communication with institutional and local stakeholders;
- Promote operational efficiency, service quality, innovation, and management sustainability.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have
- Master's degree or equivalent qualification from the previous system in economics, law or management subjects;
- At least ten years of experience in roles of general responsibility in a corporate setting (DG or CEO with operational management powers) and at least five years of general responsibility in local public transport;
- At least five years of experience managing publicly owned companies, with proven economic, financial, organizational, and personnel management skills.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Experience in at least two types of transport: urban, extra-urban and trolleybus operations;
- Knowledge of the specificities and complexities of the interrelationships between different service modalities;
- Experience in managing reorganizations, turnarounds, and extraordinary M&A transactions;
- Experience in evaluating or implementing insourcing processes;
- Demonstrate problem-solving, teamwork, communication, resilience, time management, and leadership skills.

Compensation Package
Fixed-term contract expiring December 31, 2030, in accordance with the Confetra/Manageritalia National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Logistics and Transport. Indicative gross salary of up to €140,000, including delegated powers, plus an annual variable component of up to €35,000, tied to the achievement of objectives set by the Board of Directors.
