Transport Planner

• Planning and optimization of means of transport;

• Management of relationships with transporters, drivers and owner-operators;
• Coordination with customers, suppliers and railway companies;
• Preparation and control of operational and administrative documentation;
• Monitoring shipments and managing any operational issues.

Essentials/Must have

• Experience gained in logistics and/or shipping offices of modernly organised companies

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;

• Dynamism, flexibility and a strong problem-solving orientation;

• Good familiarity with IT tools and management software

• Availability to be reached by telephone;

• Good knowledge of English

• Residence and/or Domicile in Reggio Emilia.

Preferential/Nice to have

• Previous experience in transport companies is preferable but not essential.
