Plant Controller - chemical sector

This position supports industrial control activities, contributing to the development of reporting systems, the valorization of industrial data, and the optimization of the plant's production and financial processes.

Main activities

  • Processing of the monthly Capex report, including order verification in coordination with the Purchasing Office and checking the alignment of data from the management system
  • Preparation of the monthly sales report and analysis of the main commercial dynamics
  • Periodic inventory valuation and verification of correct cost allocation, with particular attention to high-value raw materials, semi-finished products and work-in-progress products
  • Management, updating and maintenance of product sheets, including: raw material costs, consumables, department hourly costs, processing cycles and theoretical/actual yields per process phase
  • Monitoring industrial margins and analyzing deviations from standards, budgets, and forecasts
  • Production reporting for yield analysis and economic impact assessment of process changes
  • Implementation and review of the cost accounting system, including cost center remapping
  • Monitoring the progress of investments against the approved budget, supporting the company's decision-making process
  • Introduction of specific controls on raw material orders related to investment projects
  • Support the Group Controller in key controlling activities and financial and economic analyses.

Requirements

Essentials/Must have

  • Degree
  • 2/3 years' experience in industrial controlling roles in industrial/manufacturing contexts, preferably operating in the chemical-pharmaceutical, food or similar sectors
  • Good knowledge of production processes and industrial planning logic
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for cross-functional working and mediation skills
