EMBEDDED SYSTEM FIRMWARE DEVELOPER

• Design and development of software and firmware for embedded systems;
• Firmware development for system peripherals;
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, quality, regulatory);
• Participation and progressive expansion of activities towards the development of the main firmware of the devices and the integration and interfacing with the human-machine interface (HMI) software.

Essentials/Must have

• Experience in designing software and firmware for embedded systems;
• Knowledge of C, C++, C# languages;
• Understanding object-oriented design principles and multithreaded applications;
• Basic knowledge of Software Engineering;
• Knowledge of lab tools, debuggers, IDEs, and build tools.

Preferential/Nice to have

• Experience gained in the electromedical sector or other regulated sector;
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and technical standards applicable to medical and laser systems (e.g. IEC 60601-1; IEC 60825) is preferable.
