Main activities
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with national and international regulations, with a particular focus on international trade laws and sanctions. He or she will serve as a point of contact for the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal policies and procedures, ensuring that company activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.
The function is involved in issues such as:
- Trade Compliance & Export Control : definition, implementation, and updating of processes and controls related to EU/US regulations (dual use, international sanctions, export restrictions, red flags);
Regulatory monitoring : monitor developments in regulations regarding exports, privacy, 231, anti-money laundering, and cybersecurity, ensuring impact analyses and updates to internal procedures;
Data Protection (GDPR) : support DPOs and company functions in mapping processing operations, drafting DPIAs, managing data breaches, and updating privacy documentation;
Model 231/01 and Governance : contribute to updating the Organizational Model, support the Supervisory Body, conduct internal audits and monitor the implementation of measures;
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) : Oversee AML processes, verify the adequacy of KYC/transaction monitoring procedures, and support controls;
Cybersecurity & NIS2 : Collaborate with IT Security to ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements, assess cyber risks, and define mitigation and reporting plans;
Alignment and collaboration with prestigious external consultants to manage policies aligned with current regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements
Essentials/Must have
Law Degree;
5/6 years of specific experience in the Compliance field;
Coming from structured and proceduralized industrial companies or from law firms that manage medium/large sized industrial companies;
Fluent English and ability to interact in international contexts;
Analytical approach, document accuracy and project management;
Relationship and negotiation skills;
Autonomy, flexibility and a strong ethical sense.
Preferential/Nice to have
- Direct experience in Export Control or Trade Compliance is preferred;
- Experience in/related to listed companies would be appreciated but not required.
