The Role will be responsible of the business development and customer management in the Food and Lifesciences markets.

Main activities

  • Business Development: customers’ scouting; participation to industry fairs with the purpose of adcquiring potential clients; management of inbound requests coming from the Fytexia website, word of mouth or prospects’ direct research;
  • Relationship with the customer: handling the customers’ visits via teams or in person by requiring key information to start a partnership; handling the suppliers’ visits evaluating the supplier’s local integration, raw materials management, importation’s methods, types of products processed; informing the customers about new products or new possible application to encourage the sale;
  • Pricing and Budget: negotiates the prices with the customer and insert the offers on the system; promote the cross-selling and up-selling operations strengthening the incomes and reasoning on the discounts and the refunding and awarding logics;
  • Tracking and Reporting: insert in the system the main information about customers and prospects’ calls and visits indicating the areas of interest, the potential application and future development; insert in the system all the offers made for the client clearly indicating the validity and pricing and the current projects, keeping track of their on-going development.

Requirements

Must have

  • Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical technologies, Biology, Pharmaceutical or similar;
  • Sales experience in international context in chemical – scientific markets.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Background in nutraceutical industry;
  • Basis of French Languages.
